Restaurant: Grimaldi’s Pizzeria – New York
After we finished out Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO tour was explored Brooklyn Heights and walked the length of the river. We stumbled upon Grimaldi´s quite excitedly as it was one of those ´must dos´ on my eating list. We were not disappointed – the staff all looked suitably Brooklyn Italian and the pizza was AMAZING!!!! This was our third NY pizza and it was so tasty. You order the bas you want $16 for a small (plenty big enough for the two of us) and then you add your toppings for $2 – $4 each. The pizza was thin, the dough was tasty and the cheese was just the right amount. An interesting point – the restaurant isn’t licensed so you can´t have a nice red or a beer with your pizza but it made no difference. It was a great experience.
